STATE TRACK!

Once again,
i'm headed down to LaCrosse to high jump. so im pretty excited about that. It was an easy sectional. even though i didn't jump well. but i did make it also in triple, with a new PR of 31'4". That was exciting. But Sectionals was a whole different story. It was much harder than last year. The night before i couldn't fall asleep. It was about 10:30 and mom came up. She asked if i wanted a blessing, and i told her yeah. Dad came up a short while later, and a feeling of peace just drapped over me. I fell asleep like 5 minutes after and i slept really good that night. I wasn't nervous at all. It kind of kicked in, but the relaxation of my blessing just took over anyways. So i was pretty excited to get out and jump. Opening height was 4'6" and earlier this year i have been struggling at that height and at 4'8" but i was confident. I made all my first attempts until 5'1". The girls started dropping at five foot, so i started to get excited. They kept me around cause me and this other girl were tied. A jump off? oh crap. but luckily we didnt have one. but yeah. So next friday, i will be in LaCrosse, doing my thing, having fun with my mother, Lyssa, Eric, Tom( who also qualified in the 800) and of course M.D. but im super excited, and i cant wait to report back!

What about me? I'm coming too! Oh, and you said it was an easy sectional, not regional.

Good job ER!! You are awesome! And Tom too that's great.

That's awesome that you got a blessing when you did and that things ended up working out so well for you. You are a lucky girl to have such a great mom and dad---a dad to give you blessings is a great thing.
