Yesterday Megan and I had to drop of movies at Redbox and drop off a game at her brother's house. As we were on our way to Walgreens, we took a right turn up by the temple and went on a search for the haunted swing set. After driving for a few miles we turned around and came back home.
Side note: We were in Relief Society a few weeks ago and our teacher had mentioned in her lesson about the haunted swings. She only left two clues to where it was. It was past the temple and in the middle of no where.
After returning home, Megan and I searched online for where it could be. We finally found some clue to where it was. It was southeast of the temple, in the middle of no where, past the feed mill train tracks and by a circular bush. We packed up Jessica with us and we went out to search again. It felt like we were driving forever. All we saw were potato field and potato cellars. When we came upon the train tracks, we knew we were getting closer. Finally we came upon a set of trees and a circular bush. Among it was the swing set. We were excited! To be honest, I found it rather creepy at first. But it died when we got on the swing and the teeter totter swing. So here's our proof of the haunted swing set.
After we loaded back into the car, we had decided that we were going to drive out to flooded Beaver Dick. As we were making our way back to civilization, there was this moped approaching this stop sign. Megan started freaking out because she thought this person was going to blow the stop. She started to slow down, and as we came up to it, thinking an old man was driving it, it was TROY! Riding his purple moped, going for a Sunday ride. He started to follow us, so Megan pulled over and waved at him. He pulled over along side of us and we talked and told him he needed to go see the haunted swing set. He turned around and went to find it.
We had a fun adventure. Megan and I did this last summer. So we plan on going on more adventures in Rexburg. There's so much more to be seen. :)
